

Matthew Tlusty has worked at several of New York and Richmond's most prestigious restaurants including the Russian Tea Room and the Berkley Hotel. He is a 1990 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
Most recently, Chef Tlusty was chef/owner of Limani Fish Grill. Some of the accolades that Limani acquired are Best New Restaurant (Citysearch), Best Seafood Restaurant (three years, Richmond Magazine), and named to the Top 5 Richmond Restaurants (two years, Style Magazine). In addition, his Carrot and Dill Soup was named one of the Top 50 Things to Love about Richmond.
Chef Tlusty has received five Certificates of Achievement from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science in Gloucester, for his participation in furthering education between chefs, restaurants and seamen. He holds 5 gold medals in Iron Chef competitions held in Richmond.
