The Jefferson Hotel has long been known and recognized for our commitment to outstanding service and the highest standards in our industry, including cleanliness, safety and training. Using these same long-standing principles, applied in accordance to the latest government mandates and health organization recommendations, we will be operating in a manner to provide you and our hotel team members with a safe and welcoming environment.

Some of the things that you can expect during your upcoming visit include:
Stay: Upon arrival, you will be invited to self-park until it is advisable to resume valet parking services. Our usual warm welcome will be provided with careful social distancing and minimal touch points.
Our hotel team will be wearing face coverings and following a frequent hand washing regimen. Guests will also be required to wear cloth face coverings when utilizing the public areas of the hotel in consideration of our hotel team and other guests. Guests who have reason to believe they may have been exposed to the virus are strongly urged to follow CDC guidelines for self-quarantine and not travel. Our hotel team will be assisted with daily temperature and health screenings, testing and flexible time off to ensure that they are able to remain healthy.
Access into The Jefferson will be limited to those with a reservation for an overnight stay, Lemaire, Afternoon Tea or Salon Vivace and those attending a private event. Visitors without a reservation will be asked to join us at another time when restrictions have been lifted.
Our housekeeping department will be providing a new standard of cleanliness and sanitation. We have taken special care to modify housekeeping services to create a private environment throughout your stay, remove in-room items that may be difficult to sanitize and offer substitutions for convenience items for your peace of mind. Should a favorite item be missing, please let us know and one that has been sanitized can be delivered contact-free for your use during your stay. Daily housekeeping service will be provided only upon request. You will be asked to please vacate the room while housekeeping completes your service. Items such as fresh towels and bath amenities can be delivered upon request at any time. Entrance into your room for evening turn down service has been suspended but ice service, chocolates and weather cards are available upon request. All deliveries will be provided contact-free.
Signage has been placed throughout the hotel to assist with your comfort in boarding elevators, utilizing various services and interacting with our hotel team. Additional hand sanitizer stations are available.and complimentary masks upon request.

We know that times are uncertain and that things happen, often at the last minute, forcing you to change your plans to getaway. We want you to have the flexibility to make those hard decisions without the hassle or the sting of a cancellation fee. Our cancellation policy still requires that you let us know that you need to cancel 24 hours prior to your arrival to avoid any cancellation charges. Should you need to cancel inside that time frame, we offer you our Worry-Free Reservations promise to refund your cancellation charge of one night's room and tax upon your departure from your next stay.
This Worry-Free Reservations offer is valid for cancellations made between January 1 - March 31, 2021. Cancellations must be made via our Reservation Department at 800-424-8014 or 804-788-8000 to qualify. Guests simply not arriving for a confirmed reservation without calling to cancel will not qualify. Future stays must occur within six (6) months of the cancelled stay date. An email confirmation of the refund for the original cancellation fee will be provided within 3-5 business days of your departure.
Dine: Lemaire Restaurant will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily with modified service to ensure minimal direct contact and maximum social distancing. Seating and service at Lemaire bar has been suspended until further notice. Cocktail service can be enjoyed at tables or on the patio (weather permitting). Advance reservations are required for all guests wishing to join us in Lemaire. Priority reservations will be provided to overnight guests of the hotel.
Carry-out options will be available for in-house guests along with curbside pick-up for the community. Please visit www.lemairerestaurant.com for the latest options, menus and hours of service.
Room service will be available 24 hours a day for in-room dining with no contact delivery and retrieval.
Afternoon tea service will be available Friday – Sunday observing a modified service and seating plan. Advance reservations are required.
Sunday Champagne Brunch at The Jefferson has been suspended until further notice.
Explore: In order to make our public areas more welcoming for you and your travel companions, seating groups in the lobbies and throughout the hotel have been spaced further apart. High touch surfaces will be sanitized with more frequency.
Complimentary transportation service has been suspended until further notice. Concierge can assist you with driving and parking tips should you wish to explore the city. A variety of walking trails, jogging routes, parks and bicycle paths are available for fresh air excursions.
Relax: Modifications have been made to the fitness facility to ensure social distancing during your workout and sanitation of equipment following each use. Modifications have also been made in the indoor pool area. Guests will be asked to carefully follow instructions posted in the fitness facility and the indoor pool for their safety and that of other guests.

Changes to services and procedures may be necessary without prior notice in order to respond to executive orders and the findings of the Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and other agencies.
