Decorations

The hotel will be decorated for the holidays Monday, December 2, 2024 through Sunday, January 5, 2025. The hotel will be adorned with hundreds of live poinsettias, thousands of twinkle lights, hundreds of yards of garland, and dozens of wreaths. Signature displays will be created on the Grand Staircase, in the Circle Drive and in the Palm Court lobby, along with more than 20 smaller trees placed throughout the hotel. The breathtaking centerpiece, the 30-foot Christmas tree in the Rotunda, will be embellished with hundreds of oversized ornaments, bows and baubles, along with too many white twinkle lights to count.

The annual Jefferson gingerbread display will also be available throughout the season for guests to enjoy. This year's theme will again be a surprise until its unveiling on Monday, December 2 but we can promise all the delightful smells of freshly baked gingerbread and royal icing, the impeccable details created by hundreds of pounds of individually placed candies and the sweet memories that you have enjoyed in years past.

Holidays at The Jefferson Package

Whether you are planning a holiday getaway or just need a little extra space for visiting family and friends this year, our Holidays at The Jefferson package is available for mid-week stays throughout the season. This flexible package includes a grand premier guest room and complimentary self-parking.

Grand Premier Room: Rates from $305

Offer valid Sunday through Thursday evenings November 17, 2024 through January 9, 2025, excluding Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Package is based upon availability and rates will vary. Book early to secure the best rates on your preferred travel dates. Taxes are additional.

Lemaire Holiday Dining

Throughout the holiday season, Lemaire Restaurant will be serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails daily.  

Reservations for parties of larger than four are sold out for lunch and dinner in the month of December, as well as all reservations for lunch on Saturdays.

Thanksgiving: Guests will have their choice of a traditional Thanksgiving four-course holiday menu or select items from the a la carte dinner menu. Seatings are available from 1pm-8pm.

Thanksgiving is sold out for parties of five (5) or more.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: Holiday specials and the regular a la carte dinner menu will be offered. Seatings are available from 5pm-9pm on Christmas Eve and 1pm-8pm on Christmas Day. Lemaire Bar will close at 10pm on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve dinner is sold out for parties of three (3) or more.
Christmas Day is sold out for parties of five (5) or more.  

New Year's Eve: Celebratory specials and the regular a la carte dinner menu will be served on New Year's Eve with seatings from 5pm-10pm.

Guests of Lemaire are invited to self-park at no charge. Valet parking is also available at the cost of $18.00.

Reservations for Lemaire dining may be made on-line through OpenTable or by calling 804-649-4629. Advance reservations are required for all guests wishing to dine in Lemaire. Overnight guests are invited to call for holiday breakfast reservations or to request those at the time of making a room reservation. Please note that breakfast reservations during the holiday season will be available for overnight guests only.  Private dining and all reservations for groups of ten or more are now sold-out for the month of December for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

TJ’s Bar and Lounge Holiday Dining

TJ's Bar and Lounge will be serving Monday through Saturday from 11:00am – 10:00pm offering a selection of classic appetizers, salads and sandwiches. Enjoy the view of the tree while sipping a festive cocktail or mocktail, a draft from your favorite local brewery, or one of our curated wines by the glass.

Holiday Brunch will be served on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, along with all Sundays during the holiday season. Please review all the information below as reservations procedures and policies have changed.

Seating
Brunch reservation times are 10:30am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 1:30pm. Each reservation has a two-hour seating limit.

Brunch seating is available in three areas:
The Rotunda which is the area at the bottom of the Grand Staircase with the buffet around its perimeter.
TJ's Lounge which is a more intimate space located next to the Rotunda. Please note that some seating in TJ's Lounge is raised by two steps.
The Mezzanine which is the balcony overlooking the Rotunda. Guests can use the elevator or the Grand Staircase to visit the buffet

Menu
Our Executive Banquet Chef and his team feature the freshest local seasonal ingredients as they craft holiday inspired menus each week of the season. Stations include made-to-order omelets, breakfast items, carving station, soup station, Virginia seafood display, lunch items, fruit and cheese display and a decadent display of desserts and miniature confections.

Parking
Complimentary self-parking is available for brunch guests.  Please ask the host or your server for a parking validation card to use in either or the two parking lots:

• The Main Street Lot (recommended for guests seated in the Rotunda or Lounge area) is located between Adams Street and Jefferson Street. 
• The Adams Street Lot (recommended for guests seated on the mezzanine) is located across from the Franklin Street hotel entrance. 

Valet parking is also available in the hotel's main entrance at 101 W Franklin Street for $18 per car.

Dress Code
There is no dress code for brunch. Guests are invited to dress as they are most comfortable, but you will find that most of our guests prefer to dress up for the occasion.

NEW FOR 2024
Full payment is required at the time of booking the reservation. Cancellations and changes to the number of guests on all reservations must be received seven (7) days prior to your reservation to receive a refund of your prepayment.

RESERVATION TIPS

• Reservations must be made online. Unfortunately, our team will not be able to assist you with reservations via telephone, social media, email, or in person.
• Online reservations will open exactly 90 days prior to each reservation date at 8:00am EST. If you are logged on prior to 8am, you may need to refresh your browser. 
• Please have your credit card ready to complete your online booking. Your credit card will be charged for your brunch experience at the time the reservation is made.
• Reservations are non-transferable.
• Brunches are only served on Sunday except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
• Cancellations and reservation changes, based upon availability, can also be made via Tock prior to the 7-day cancellation cutoff and based on availability.
• Once all reservations have been booked for a brunch, you will be provided the opportunity to be placed on a waitlist via Tock.
• Guests requesting reservation for parties of 13 or more must call to make their reservation and sign a contract.

Holiday Teas

Holiday Tea is served daily except on Sunday from November 29, 2024 through January 4, 2025 with Holiday Chocolate Lovers Tea served on Fridays and Saturdays as well as Tuesday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 31.

Reservations for holiday teas will open online at 8:00am EST exactly 90 days in advance of the reservation date (current day is counted as day #1).

Santa Tea will be served on Saturday, December 7 and Thursday, December 19 from 12pm-2pm. Reservations will open online at 8am on Tuesday, October 1. Reservations are currently sold out but you may add yourself to the waitlist.

Holiday tea will not be served on the following dates:
December 1,5, 7, 14, 15, 19, 22, 25 (Christmas Day), 29, or January 1 (New Year's Day).

Gluten free and vegan menus are available at an additional charge of $6.00 per person. Nut or dairy free menus are also available at an additional charge of $4.00 per person. These requests must be made at the time of booking online.

Parking
Complimentary self-parking is available for tea guests in the Main Street Lot located between Adams and Jefferson Streets or in the Adams Street Lot located across from the Franklin Street hotel entrance. Valet parking is available at the Franklin Street entrance (101 W Franklin Street) for $18 per car.

Holiday Photography

We ask that guests taking personal photos during the holiday season please be respectful of those around them. Guests creating an unsafe or uncomfortable experience for other guests will be asked to please move to another area of the hotel to capture their holiday images.
